The Comanche County Health Department is under the direction of Keith Reed, RN, MPH. Reed is also the administrator of Cotton and Greer county health departments.

Our Mission: As your local health department, we are working to fulfill our mission, "working together for a healthy community."   We do this by monitoring the health of our community, identifying and responding to health threats, providing timely and accurate information, enforcing laws that protect health and providing quality services to prevent and control disease.

Whether or not you have utilized the direct services provided by our staff, the Comanche County Health Department provides indirect protection every day for each person that lives, works and plays in our community. Whether we are inspecting restaurants, providing infant immunizations or investigating disease outbreaks, we are committed to our mission of providing a healthy community for all of the citizens of Comanche County.Services provided vary as to days, times, eligibility, and fees, if any.
