    Come join us at Diamondback Harley Davidson for the inaugural Bikers and Bras Breast Cancer poker run and fundraiser to benefit the Cancer Centers of Southwest Oklahoma. There will be opportunities for everyone to join in and have a great time. We will have a live band, food trucks, door prizes, raffles, 50/50, silent auction, bra decorating contest, and a fashion show brought to you by Diamondback Harley Davidson.
    Bikers and Bras is excited to share this event with our community and the Texoma region. We hope that you will join us to help make this event a success and raise funds for The Cancer Centers of Southwest Oklahoma. Our goal is to raise funds to provide chemotherapy and radiation treatments for underserved patients.
    This event is brought to you by the Ladies of Harley, The Harley Owners Group, Diamondback Harley Davidson, the Cancer Centers of Southwest Oklahoma, and the generous support of the Lawton/Ft. Sill Oklahoma community.

    For some, Fall is the start to a season of hustle and bustle. But at Discovery Outpost, we want to change that. Join us Saturday, October 17th from 6PM to 8PM for “Fall-idays at Discovery Outpost!”
    Come on out to Discovery Outpost, gather ’round a cozy fire, and enjoy live piano music, complimentary hot cider, cookies, games, and crafts.
    This evening of nostalgia–a throwback to simpler times and the good ol’ days–will be an evening of family fun and togetherness. A time to slow down, laugh, and create memories.

    Activity: 60 minutes of guided cookie decorating with Mrs. Chadwick
    Cost: $20 per participant
    Mrs. Chadwick will be bringing her cookie kits to Discovery Outpost! These kits include a variety of Halloween themed cookies as well as assorted colorful frosting. Due to limited space, seating is limited to 10 participants. Parents or guardians wishing to sit with their child are welcome, but must pay for their own cookie kit.

Instead of hosting a large gathering, the Alzheimer’s Association is encouraging participants to walk as individuals or in small groups on sidewalks, tracks and trails across Lawton.

    By learning the basics of self-defense you help prepare yourself for dangerous and unforeseen circumstances.
    During this workshop you will learn:
    * Situational awareness
    * Vital parts of the body that are vulnerable and easy to attack
    * Basic strikes and kicks
    * Defenses for the most common attacks on women
    * Plus more.
    This class is ideal for women that would like to learn basic and practical methods of self defense. This event is for ages 13 & up. All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by parent/guardian. There is no fee for attendees, however donations are accepted and will go toward local women’s center.

  • Fort Sill Zombie Run

    Lace up your running shoes and run like your life depends on it… because it just might! Join us at the Historic Patriot Club for our Zombie Run that begins at 6 P.M. on October 30th, 2020! Choose between our on-site race or our virtual race.
    Cost: $25/runner
    Distance: 2.6 MI / 4.2 K
    Start/Finish: Patriot Club (500 Upton Rd, Fort Sill OK)
    Price includes: Limited Edition T-Shirt and Stickers
    On-site registration is at 5 P.M. Race begins at 6 P.M.
    Virtual participants will be mailed race packets, if outside of the area. Fort Sill/Lawton participants will be able to pick up their race packets beginning October 29 at Building 4700 (Welcome Center) on Fort Sill.
    Participants that register before October 18, will have their prefered T-Shirt size GUARANTEED. We will have extra shirts available, however same-day registrants will not be guaranteed a T-Shirt.
    Costumes are encouraged! Water stops and EMS will be on-site.
    Registration form will be available here. You can fill out digitally and email your registration form to: fortsillmwr@gmail.com or print out and drop off your form at Financial Management (1st Floor) at BLDG 4700 (Welcome Center).
    If you email your form, you will need to sign the waiver on the DAY OF THE EVENT. You will be contacted shortly after submission to pay over the phone.

    Rainbow Bridge Can Wait Animal Rescue and Fliptastic Gymnastics & CrossFit are teaming up to bring you the first ever Puptastic Fall Carnival! This festive event will include trunk or treat for the kiddos and pups, a doggy costume contest (@ 1:00 PM), vendor booths, food trucks, games and more! Anyone who brings a donation for RBCW will get their name entered in our raffle drawing. The adoptable furry friends from RBCW will be there too! It will be a fabulous day of family fun for a good cause! All proceeds go to Rainbow Bridge Can Wait Animal Rescue.
