Bail Bond Release and Appearance Schedule
Bail may be posted with the Comanche County Detention Center by cash, cashier’s check, or money order to effect the release of persons arrested during times that the Comanche County Courthouse is not open for business for the following offenses and in the following amounts:

Misdemeanors Only – No Felonies
1. Possession of marijuana – $1,000.00
2. Possession of paraphernalia – $500.00
3. Transporting open container – $500.00
4. Driving with suspended/revoked or canceled driver’s license – $1,000.00
5. Driving without security verification – $500.00
6. Petit larceny – $500.00
7. Bogus check – $1,000.00
8. Reckless or careless driving – $750.00
9. Speeding or other minor traffic violation – $250.00
 

Offenses 10, 11, and 12 must wait 8 hours after booking to be eligible for bail bond release. Offenses 10, 11, and 12 are NOT eligible for bail bond release if the offenses included:
a. Personal injury
b. Property damage
c. Aggravated DUI (.15 BAC or more)

10. Driving under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances or actual physical control – $1,000.00
11. Driving while impaired – $1,000.00
12. Public drunk – $200.00
 

Exceptions
All offenses will NOT be eligible for bail bond release if the offense involved:
1. Weapons
2. Violence or threats
3. Personal injury
4. Violation of protective orders
5. Domestic abuse, stalking, or harassment
6. Domestic assault and battery
7. A warrant (except for bogus check warrants)
8. The offender currently on other bond
